From September 2014, the Government has provided a Universal Infant Free School Meal for all Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children. However, you may still be entitled to Benefits Related Free School Meals if you get any of the following:
It remains vitally important that all parents who qualify for a traditional Free School Meal under the current benefits criteria, continue to apply through the Together for Children portal, even if your child is in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2 and receiving a Universal Infant Free School Meal.
Registering for free meals could raise an extra £1,320 for our school to fund valuable support like extra tuition, additional teaching staff or after school activities. This additional money is available from central government for every child whose parent is receiving one of the benefits listed above.
If you believe you are entitled to apply for Benefits Related Free School Meals please go to the Together for Children portal by clicking here and apply for your child/children.
