Welcome to our 2 Year old Nursery Room blog.
Our 2 year old room has been open for a year and what an amazing time we have had!
We have had a successful 12 months, during which our children have thrived.
On the 23rd November 2022 we had our most recent OFSTED inspection. The inspectors wrote
“Children in early years are calm and concentrate well in activities. Strong relationships
with key adults ensure two-year-olds settle quickly. … Staff model activities well. …. Regular singing of counting songs and rhymes helps children understand the language of number.”

Autumn 1
This half term we are finding out about ourselves, our families and where we live.
Below you will find our Medium Term Overview for this half term. We follow a child centred planning approach; we have an umbrella theme but allow for activities to be planned to develop the children’s interests that we have observed in their play.
